I never met her in person but spoke to her about my cats through an email. I haven't read the last Joe Grey book yet but I am going to reread the whole series first.
These books were a big deal to me and a great comfort they also made me treat myself and my pets better if that makes any sense. I was less grouchy and all that.
I also want to read her complete works.
I've spoken about her on goodreads and am trying to get more people to read Joe Grey.
She is gone but not forgotten.

I just read about Mrs. Murphy's passing and I am so sorry for your loss.  Even though I never met her, I feel like I've known her my whole life through her love of cats and her Joe Grey books.  She was a talented writer and will be missed.
