Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the chapel at Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
Mr. Sapp was born November 15, 1939 in Adel, GA to Lewis and Emma Harris Sapp. He married Nancy A. Drew on February 5, 1965. He joined the U.S. Army and served for 23 years, including combat in Vietnam. Upon retirement from the military, he found employment with Dyna Corp, where he also retired.
Mr. Sapp was a Mason and a Shriner (serving as President of Alcazar Shrine Club of Dothan in 2000). He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy A. Sapp; children, Priscilla Rewis, Pete Sapp and Lewis Sapp (Tami); grandchildren, Tia, Chad, Kristi, Austin, Torrey, Jenifer, Jeffrey (Julie) and Seth.
