Jerry Lee Cox

Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rachel Cox; his brother, Joseph Cox, Jr.; and sister, Edith Austin.

He is survived by his sister, Michelle Barber; niece, Gina Barber; and his best friend, John Romero. Jerry earned his B.A. degree in the Arts. He also served in the U.S. Army as Staff Sergeant, from 1954 to 1975. Jerry was President of the Association at Royal Palms. He loved to draw, paint, travel, bowl, shoot pool, visit vineyards for wine tasting, as well as going to the movies. He loved working in the yard and his house and spending time with his family and close friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 2013, a 1 p.m. at the Royal Palms Club House. The viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad & James Reardon, 401 W. Channel Island Blvd., Oxnard, Calif. 93033, on February 2, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings and/or condolences may be sent to 1822 Lathan Avenue, Camarillo, Calif. 93010, attention Michelle Barber. Jerry was a very loving and generous man and will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. God Bless His always-beautiful heart and soul.
