Julia Rebelo

Julia Rebelo, 82, of Orlando, FL passed away on March 19, 2016. She was born March 13, 1934 in Murtosa, Portugal to the late Manuel Joaquin and Gracinda DaSilva Barroqueiro. Julia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jose. Throughout their lifetime together, they lived in Kearny, NJ and later moved to Orlando, FL. While in New Jersey, Julia worked for Chase Chemical in Quality Control. Julie loved gardening and birds, specifically Africa Grey and Cockatiels. She was known for being orderly and enjoyed collectables. She was a devout Catholic and loved the Lord. Julia will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in her passing by her siblings Henrique, Rita, Gracinda, and Maria.

Julia is survived by her husband, Jose Rebelo; sons Joe Rebelo, Jr. (Dora) and Helder Rebelo (Cathy); sisters, Rosa DaSilva and Gloria Evangelho; and grandchildren Helder Jose Teodoro and Dante Gerard.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5-8pm at Baldwin Fairchild Oviedo, 501 E Mitchell Hammock Rd, Oviedo, FL 32765. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 22 at 10am at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789.
