I knew Jimmy during the 70’s and 80s. We hung out literally every single day in Colorado. My ex husband and I spent many years going to Jimmy’s families cabin. We loved going there and fishing, hiking and enjoying nature. We all would vacation together and had some great adventures together. I worked at a bank and introduced him to my co worker and friend Jody…they ended up marrying and moving to Florida. I have so many wonderful pictures and memories. I send my condolences and prayers to his family. Rest In Peace my ole friend. 

MY JIMMY     I miss you so   Just heard Country Roads and my heart started to ache     But I know you are whole and I know you are talking now...lol    You've no doubt hooked up with MOM   She LOVED you the best of all    You were special to her too    I carry the memories of Colorado in my heart always    I miss you so much darlin.....   we couldn't put what we had into words - just knew it was special and would always be    No matter where are own steps took us, nothing, nothing ever changed how our hearts connected and felt    I can see you talking to Rusty and Lois and Aunt Franny shaking their heads...  and your dad probably left the area lol    I remember when we went to CO and found his resting place.   so many memories...   I miss you love!!

I saw saddened to learn of your father's passing.  He was a good man, jovial, always there to lend a hand, and he loved you so very much.  I will always cherish our get-togethers as you and my kids, Alicia and Phil, were growing up, especially the 4th of July fireworks on our street!  There are many fond memories with your Dad that will be with us forever.

Jimmy had more stories than a traveling salesman.  We shared a number of holiday celebrations with Jimmy, after the holiday meal he would always take a nap.  We will miss him.

Jimmy had a heart of gold. I never heard him say a disparaging word. He had a quick wit  and a sense of humor with few words sometimes one word that made everyone laugh. 
He and I liked to reminisce about our childhood and the family and especially the family cowboy card game, Pitch. You can hear laughter and hooping and hollering during the tournaments whenever 
there was a gathering. Jimmy loved his children and grandchildren "with all his heart" and would say "Lord I love talking about my family ".
I loved being with him and talking to him on FB.
I'm comforted that he is whole and happy, joyous and free. 💕

My step brother Jimmy had the kindest heart.  My dad  would say “Jimmy would give you the shirt off his back.” 
And he was right.  Rest In Peace Jimmy, you made the world a better place.
