Brian was born on December 14, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan where he graduated from Everett High. He went on to attend Lansing Community College and Aurora University where he majored in Legal Studies and was later employed as a paralegal with Swift Collins and Cohen Law Firm. He also worked for Westcor Land Title where he became the top agency recruiter for South and Central Florida. He also worked for Stewart Title and First American.
Brian enjoyed boating, riding his Harley Davidson and smoking only the best cigars.
Brian was very soft spoken, such a kind and loving gentleman with a heart of gold. Everyone in his circle loved him. He helped so many, in the title business to achieve success. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Ronald Smith; sister, Carol J. Kies, and Step daughter Amy Newkirk.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Smith; brother, Bruce (Cindy) Smith of Floyd Knowbs, Indiana; sister Connie Paddock of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; stepchildren, Ryan Taylor of Lakeland, Florida, Scott Taylor, and Maegen Granahan of Dexter, New York; brother in law, Roger Vitulo of Casselberry; sons in law Robert and Monica Newkirk of Sanford, Florida; grandchildren, Anya and Orien Taylor, Ariana, Huntleigh and Lennox Taylor, and a host of nieces and nephews.
