As a young boy, Vic’s passion was his love for Model Trains. In his later teenage years, He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he worked as a Maintenance Tech performing repairs on Military Vehicles. He also was enlisted in the Army National Guard after his duty from the Air Force.
While enlisted in the Armed Forces at Fort Bliss Air Force Base of El Paso, Texas, He met the Love of His Life, Noemi "Amy" Harris on a blind date. On their 3rd date he asked her to marry him, and she said, "Yes!". From that day forward they were married for just over 60 glorious, adventurous years. They had 8 children.
