It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alejandro “Alex” Izaguirre, a beloved son, brother, and uncle who left us on October 10, 2024. Born on December 7, 1987, Alex was known for his artistic talent, his creativity, and his thoughtful nature.
Alex was a kind soul. His love for his dog, Bear, was unmatched. They were inseparable, sharing countless adventures and quiet moments together. Bear was more than just a pet — he was Alex’s loyal companion and best friend. Alex also had a special bond with his nieces. He adored spending time with them, whether it was being silly with them, doing arts and crafts together, or just being their fun and loving uncle.
Alex was also generous and funny. He was always willing to lend a hand, share a laugh, or go over the top with Christmas gifts and preparing food for family dinners. Alex had a unique ability to crack a joke at just the right moment, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
While Alex had an independent spirit, he had a deep sense of loyalty and love for his family. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
Alex is survived by his loving parents, Jose and Denise, his sister and brother-in-law, Brisa and Jake, his nieces Alivia, Myla, and Sienna, and his loyal companion, Bear. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am on Friday, October 18th at the Chapel. Burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Overland Park, Kansas.
Rest in peace, Alex. Your spirit, humor, and love will live on in our hearts forever.
