Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Perley & Rideau Veteran`s Health Centre on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late John Simon Martin. Loving mother of Susan Markey, Allan (Marilyn), Chris, Caroline and Angela (Tim Progosh). Dear Nanna of John, Greg, Emily, Louis, Dorothy, Daisy, Bridget and Michael. Predeceased by her sister Rose and by her brothers Allan and Rene. The family would like to thank the staff of the Perley & Rideau for their nurturing and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 9:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 194 Fourth Avenue (at Percy Street). Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery.
