Unexpectedly at home, on Thursday September 11, 2014 at the age of 62 years. Beloved wife of Jack Bernard. She will be fondly remembered by Jack`s children, Jayne and Janet (Paul Bernard). The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Sunday, October 19, 2014 after 1 pm followed by a celebration of Sandy`s life at 2 pm in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
