It is with deep sadness that we announce that at the age of 47, surrounded by his family, the passing of our beloved Michael on February 11, 2020. Michael was predeceased by his father Gerry and leaves behind his loving mother Marguerite, his spouse Mona, his sister Nicole, brother Mark, his nieces, nephews as well as a large extended family that loved him dearly. Michael's precious hugs and smile will be forever missed! Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Sunday, February 16 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 3:00 pm. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Canada, (click on the link below).
