Our much loved family matriarch, passed peacefully from this world to join Edward, her late husband of 66 years. Mom’s strong sense of social justice, her love of politics, music & great debates was only exceeded by her love of family. Through her entire life family always came first regardless of circumstances. Now that she has joined Dad, they will probably be singing along to the music of Lawrence Welk. Mom will be lovingly remembered but sadly missed by her children, Dianne (late John) Theresa (late Jim) Susan (Rod), her grandchildren, David (Debbie) Paul (Darlene) Stephen (Jean), Christopher (Lucy) Heather (Terry) & Christina, her great grandchildren Heather, Dilyn, Mason, Elena & Ashley & all other family & friends. Marguerite was predeceased by her siblings Earl, Melba, Raymond, Doug, Winnifred, and Blanche. Family and friends may attend a Mass Memorial at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Drive, Orleans on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11 am. The family will be in attendance at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Miriam Center – 30-2472 St. Joseph Blvd. Orleans or the Elisabeth Bruyère Rehab Program 43 Bruyère Ottawa would be appreciated. Many thanks to the 3rd Floor staff at Medex who so lovingly took care of Mom & to all the other staff who made her time at Medex a happy one.
