Karen Keith

January 31, 1950 – March 24, 2015

After a brave battle with cancer, Karen Keith, aka Mom, Nan, Auntie, Karnie and Nurse Nancy, passed away peacefully with her family at her side. As always, she was surrounded with lots of love and laughter, right until the end. Her memory and spirit will be carried on by her daughters, Angela Fournier and Shannon Keith, her granddaughter, Alexandra Sousa, her two big sisters, Winnie Marcellus and Marion Milks, sister-in-law Gertrude Wilson, the Keith family and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Waiting for her with a little Neil Diamond playing, a big margarita and lots of sun and sand are her sisters Dodie and Ailie, brothers Kenny and Gayle, parents Harold and Doris, brother-in-law Graydon and, cousin Hal. A special thank you to the staff at the Central West hospice; your care and compassion made all the difference. Family and friends are welcome to visit at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Road) on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm with a small service and celebration following.
