Peacefully at home surrounded by her family in her 102 year, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Wife of Lingsing Thomas. Loving mother of Doreen Jackman (the late John), LeRoy Thomas (Gita), Lyn Tie Prinn, Allan Thomas (Christine), Yolande Thomas, Marilyn Nimblett (Yoland), Jacqueline Lockman (the late Frank), Merlin Lockman and Anthony Thomas (Lisa). She is survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard Church, 1720 St. Bernard Street on Wednesday at 11 a.m. I lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
