Frances Eileen Taylor

Born January 4th, 1931 on a farm near Newburgh, Ontario, Eileen Sweet was the second of six children. In 1954 she married John Taylor, the love of her life, and their journey together began in Kingston. Dad's government job soon brought them to Ottawa, then to the diplomatic and military communities in Washington D.C., and then home to Ottawa again. After suddenly losing Dad to heart failure in 1987, Mom found joy in her friends and family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Cathy (Al) and granddaughter Kirby (Brodie), and her son John (Cheryl) and grandsons Daniel and Christopher. Mom, you showed us what it is to love your family with your whole heart and your whole life, and we will remember you with reverence and love forever. Interment will be next to Dad at the family plot in Buckingham, Quebec. A memorial gathering will be held when public meetings again become possible. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
