With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Dr. Angela Chow (Nee Wirsching) following the unexpected discovery of late-stage cancer. Angela passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of 44 years to Dr. Donald Chow, loving mother to Andrei (Jessica Pelletier) and Lara (Dominik Rymsza), and 'Gramma' to Tayver, Ava, Maja, and another grandchild on the way. She is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Wirsching, and sister, Beverly (John Higgins), and predeceased by her father, Oswald. Angela found beauty in everything and everyone around her. We will forever admire the loving, resilient, and kind soul that Angela was — she brought sunshine and good humour everywhere. A very warm thank-you to Dr. D. O'Keefe and all of the other healthcare professionals at the Civic Hospital for providing outstanding compassionate care. A visitation will be held for friends and family at McEvoy - Shields Funeral Home & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd.) on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Private Family Service will take place.
