Andree McAteer - Peacefully, surrounded by family at Ottawa (General) Hospital, on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 Andree Claudette (Chouinard) McAteer of Ottawa; age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Jim McAteer. Loving mother of Karen McAteer, Shawn (James) McAteer, and Allan McAteer. Cherished grandmother of Joshua McAteer and Adam McAteer and cherished great-grandmother of Marshall McAteer (Adam). Survived by sisters Charlotte Tessier (late Orval), Marcelle Zabchuk (Andy) and brother Denis Chouinard (Grace). Daughter of the late Albert Chouinard and the late Flore (Bouchard) Chouinard. Predeceased by sisters Louise Cooper (late Eric) Alberté Contant (late Hubert) and Carmen Payette (late Edgar) .

Andree will be remembered as a truly loving soul + committed child of God always sharing her vital faith in Jesus Christ and praying for family/ friends (John14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.")
