Pamela Jean Burke, age 70, of Moses Lake Washington, passed away October 13, 2013 at the Holy Family Hospital in Spokane Washington. She was born in Ontario Oregon on December 29, 1942. Pamela Graduated from Othello High School. She was married to Edward John Burke on October 12, 1962 in Moses Lake. Together they raised their family in Othello. Edward passed away December 31, 2000. Pamela had a career as a Nurses Aid. She worked a few years for Avalon Care Center in Othello, before moving to Moses Lake and finishing her career as a Nurses Aid at Sun Bridge nursing home in Moses Lake. She was a member of the Eagles, and had a passion in her love for Reading, especially Nora Roberts books, crafts, and board games. Pamela really enjoyed summer weekends in Moses Lake attending concerts and other events at McCosh Park. She was a huge fan of the Elvis impersonator ( Steve Sogura) who comes to Moses Lake every year to perform on 3rd Ave. On that note one might say that Pamela "has left the building." She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, Jean and Judith Bicart. She was survived by her daughters ; Judy Hughes of Moses Lake, Mary (Bruce) Minnis of Moses Lake, Lori (Terry) VanVleet of Moses Lake, and Karla Hughes of Othello and her son Bryan Burke of Moses Lake. Pamela also leaves 14 grandchildren; Darrell Madsen of Moses Lake, Robert John Hughes of Moses Lake, Jessica (Jonathan) Clark of Moses Lake, Anthony Chavez of Moses Lake, Chris Chavez of Moses Lake, Stewart Burke of Moses Lake, Nathan Hughes Jr of Arkansas, Robert Hamilton Hughes IV of Spokane Wa., Nikole Ramsey of Moses Lake, Markus Ramsey of Moses Lake, Eddie Burke of Oregon, Bryden Burke of Moses Lake, Brycen Burke of Moses Lake, and Brendon Burke of Moses Lake, and 11 great-grandchildren, Kylie Madsen of Moses Lake, Kaylie Burke of Moses Lake, Darrell Ryan Madsen Jr. of Moses Lake, John Clark of Moses Lake, James Clark of Moses Lake, Edward Burke of Oregon, Caleb of Moses Lake, Alexis of Missiour, and Alexa of Tri-cities Wa., Nevaeh Ramsey of Moses Lake, Jayce Chavez of Moses Lake, to cherish her loving memory.
