Linda was born on January 30, 1954 in Eureka, CA to Forest and Alvina (Bisson) Wadsworth. Her family moved to Washington in 1956 and for the next few years traveled extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Willapa Valley High School in 1972 and attended Centralia Beauty College, graduating in cosmetology. She worked at Twiggy’s Beauty Salon in Hoquiam, WA, then for the Aberdeen J.C. Penny salon. Linda met Bill Edlin in June of 1981 at the Community Chapel in South Bend, WA they were married on August 25, 1981 in South Bend. Bill and Linda moved to Othello in 1984 to manage The Printers. Linda was happy raising her family but soon Bill needed some help in the office and she went to work part time and then full time as the Office Manager.
Linda will be remembered for her independent, selfless and generous nature with a lot of stubbornness thrown in. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She and Bill enjoyed “resort camping” and later riding their motorcycles around Washington. She had a strong faith in God and had a habit of saying whatever was on her mind.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Freddie Boyce. She is survived by her husband Bill of Othello, her children Natalie (Alfredo) Arellano of Pasco, Amanda (Matt) Bricknell of Maple Valley, WA. Rob Edlin of Othello, Julie (Art) Gonzalez of Othello and Kelly (Hector) Chimese of Kent, 2 brothers Ted “Bear” Wadsworth, Charles “Tuffy” Espey and 3 sisters Lela Wood, Heidi Prentiss and Annette Anderson. 13 Grandchildren with 1 more on the way, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
