Deborah Wyss, 66, of Ossian, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Deborah was born in Tacoma, Washington on November 8, 1957, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Cupp) Sikes Jr. She was a dispatcher for Suburban Propane for several years. Deborah enjoyed sitting on the front porch, Gem Car rides, espresso martinis, dinners out and coffee. Most of all she cherished time with her family, especially her grandson. Deborah never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Wyss; children, Angel Baker and Joshua Wolfe; grandson, Heath Baker; siblings, Judy (Bill) McNew, Betty Thompson, Barbara (Scott) DeWolfe, Sam (Amy) Sikes and Helen Anderson; seven nieces; two nephews; 25 great nieces and nephews; and eleven great-great nieces and nephews. Deborah was also preceded in passing by her brother, Delbert Greene; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Thompson and Gary Anderson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Contributions in Deborah's memory may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Ossian.
