Teresa Catherine Finegan Howard

After a brief illness, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 17th, 2014, in her 89th year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Loving wife of the late Kenneth. Predeceased by her sisters Marguerite and Mary. Beloved mother to Angela (William), Catherine (Paul), Therese, John (Marianne), Gregory (Deborah) and Paul (Michele). Cherished grandmother to Dianna, David, Matthew, Christine, Andrew, Daniel, Kathryn, Victoria, Anastasia, Nicole, Meghan, Matthew, Nicole, Joshua, CJ, Jacob, Nicholas and Olivia. Beloved great grandmother to Jessica, Valerie, Sophia, Elainna, Emmett, Isaac, Hayden, Edwin, Charlie, Evelyn, Brooklyn, Katelyn, Samuel and Jeremy. A special thank you for the kind and loving care by the staff at Thorntonview Long Term Care and to the nurses and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, October 20th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH (903 Giffard Street, Whitby) on Tuesday, October 21st at 10:00 a.m. Interment Bond Head Cemetery, Newcastle. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Covenant House.
