She is survived by her daughter, Laurie and granddaughter Maggie. Her daughter Sharon, son-in-law Gregg and grandsons, Samuel, James, Timothy and Joseph.
Life rewarded Myrla with a wonderful adventure. It started in Winnipeg, took her to northern Quebec, down to the coffee mountains of Jamaica, to the lush rainforest of Guyana, back up to the stark white winters of northern Ontario and down again to the crystal blue Island of Barbados. She loved a husband, raised two daughters and spoiled five grandchildren. She worked and contributed to her community in various capacities. Myrla spent many years rejoicing with fellow choristers in song and sailed the Grenadians with the dolphins. She mingled among many cultures and remained open to this wonderful world and all its people.
Myrla's generous and truly uplifting spirt will be greatly missed.
