Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17th, 2014 in the loving presence of her daughters. Kay lived 93 wonderful years. She is predeceased by her dear husband Ken and her beloved son Michael. Also predeceased by her parents, John and Mabel Robbins, siblings Alixandra, Patricia, John, Bernadette, Sheila, and Joan. Kay spent her early life in Toronto and moved to Whitby in 1962, where she and Ken owned and operated The Coach House Restaurant. Following that, Kay spent 25 years working for the Real Estate Board where she met some dear friends. Kay is survived and much loved by her son Larry (Ron), and daughters Kathy and Shelagh (Darren). She was so proud of her grandchildren Michael, Kelly (Clint), Jesse, Jordan, and Samantha. She delighted in her great grandchildren Max, Madelyn, Hayley, and Mallory. Kay is also survived by her loving sister Bernice, who will miss her dearly as will all of her many nieces and nephews. Loved and remembered by Bev and Joe deLottinville and family, Neal, Joanne and Gord. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street, West (905-721-1234) on Friday, January 24th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH (903 Gifford St., Whitby) on Saturday, January 25th at 1:00 pm. Followed by a reception at the Whitby Yacht Club.
