Happy Heavenly Birthday, Josh. I wish you could’ve celebrated it on Earth, but I’m sure you’re doing better than ever. I miss you a lot. Thinking of you, brother.❤️

I remember one time Josh and I were in a lyft with our mom and I could hear his music, I could immediately recognize it. It was Tom’s Diner. I asked, “You listening to Tom’s Diner?” and he confirmed. From there we started talking about it and bonding. Now whenever I want to feel closer to Josh, I listen to it.

I taught Joshua French for the first term of Grade 8. Looking through my things, I saw that Joshua was the first recipient of the Growth Mindset award for French for September, indicative of his commitment to learning. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and offer my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Joshua will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace.

I taught Josh when he was in grade 8. I also taught him music when he was in grade 6. Josh brought so much joy, happiness and laughter to his friends and teachers. We started a guitar club (when Josh was in grade 6) and I taught the students the  song ‘Waving Flag by Knaan”. Josh had a solo and he was so great! We entered a festival where the students played/sang this song. Whenever I hear this song I will think of Josh. Josh was always so positive and had an easy going, gentle and warm demeanor. It was easy to see that he was so loved by his friends and those around him. When I look at his classmates I see a bit of Josh in all of them. 

 My deepest condolences to his family and close friends. He was a talented young man. It was such a pleasure to know and teach him. He left footprints on my heart. May he Rest In Peace

I’m going to miss you forever bro! We made so many life long memories together. I’ll never forget back in kindergarten we bit each other’s ears and became best friends ever since. ∞♥️

Josh was not only my younger brother, but a best friend in a way. Yeah, we fought like brothers and sisters do, but the good times outshined. Our laughter and bonding is something I will miss dearly. He really knew how to cheer me up. He always knew when I wasn’t doing my best.

Our prayers are with Josh's family and friends. Josh was such a kind and giving person. He will be missed by all of the grade 1 students he volunteered to coach, including our son. The video shows "Coach Josh"   taking the time to help our son with his basketball drills. We will always be grateful for the time and patience Josh gave while coaching and sharing his talents with an upcoming generation of basketball players.

The MacAdam Family

Josh had a love for our cats! Especially Mylo! He would always carry him. He had this specific way of holding him (not pictured here). He’d hold Mylo close to him and have his paws in his hand, kind of like he was holding a gift😂.  He was the only one who could do it. Just like us, it seems the cats are mourning. They have been sitting outside of his room meowing.

I remember one time Josh and I took turns filming each other doing and attempting  the helicopter dance. We both had a passion of dancing when we were younger. We’d put on the Much Music channel and he’d do flips and tricks! In this video he was 10. It is very bad quality, but it was the 2010’s afterall.

Our sincerest condolences to Joshua's family and friends on behalf of all of the students and staff at All Saints Catholic Secondary School.

Matthew and Josh shared a strong bond through friendly academic competition, various musical performances and a love of basketball. Josh always had a huge smile and was always very kind to all of us. Please know that we will always remember Josh with love and admiration. Our deepest condolences to his family.

I went to elementary with Josh, and I remember him always being so helpful and kind. He never failed to put a smile on our faces. Josh was extremely humble and so compassionate. He definitely left his footprints on this earth.
