Ila (Bea) Beatrice Davidson

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 20th, 2013, in her 94th year at The Wynfield Long Term Care Facility. Bea was born on June 4th, 1920 in Milestone, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by her parents William and Teena Davidson, her brothers Eddie, Ernie, Kenny, and her sisters Margaret, Grace, Hazel and Mary, and survived by her sister Edith Brown. She was a cherished aunt and doted on all of her nieces and nephews and will be especially missed by Janet. Bea moved to Ontario in 1951 and worked for a number of years at the Beatrice Dairy on Ritson Road. She was a long time resident on Roxborough Street, an avid gardener, seamstress and crafter. The family would like to extend its gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at The Wynfield LTC for their genuine devotion in taking care of Beatrice for the last 5 years. Memorial Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, July 25th from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations can be made to Kedron United Church or a charity of your choice.
