Born September 6, 1934 in Llanfachraeth, Anglesey, North Wales.
Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his 86th year on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 at Milton District Hospital surrounded by his family.
Husband and best friend to Dionysia (Di) Jones (nee. Powell) for 56 years.
Adoring father to Elizabeth (Liz) Sonderskov (Brian) and devoted grandfather to Daniel Sonderskov (Jasmine) and Nicole Fodor (Lorand) and loving great-grandfather to Brooklyn Fodor and Brydon and Blake Sonderskov.
Pre-deceased by mother, Elizabeth Jones (nee. Edwards); father, Owen Jones; sister, Nancy Jones; and sister, Mair Morris (nee Jones).
Hugh will be greatly missed by his siblings and many friends and extended family over-seas and in Canada.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, November 24th from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
