i had fond memories  of Harold at the north plant 
in Oshawa  , he was a real joker  , and I’d go over to visit Him and Dot and got to know Brent and Brian  as well

Brian and Brent..my deepest condolences on the passing of your father.  Harold and Dorothy spent many weekends visiting my parents Gordon and Gerry Everett in Guelph in return we would visit your parents.   Many many laughs.  I truly miss those days.
Hold your memories close..they will help you get thru the difficult days.

It is hard to imagine Maine St. without Harold Carr. He was the best neighbour and it was an honour to know him. So glad we got to hear his stories and learn about his life. Sympathies to his family who we heard about so often. We will never forgot him.

I have such wonderful memories of time with Harold,  'Mr. Carr' in Kedron, with Dorothy, Brian and Brent. Growing up with the same-named family as a neighbour was coincidental, being 2 houses apart.
I always remember laughing when we were talking together over the fence, enjoying each other's company. Brian and Brent, we share our condolences to you both and your families on this milestone. I will always hold your family close in my heart. Xo

Our deepest sympathies to Brian, Brent and families.  We will remember Uncle Harold for his loving devotion to Aunt Dorothy, his children and extended family.  We have special memories of Uncle Harold’s daily trips to the pool, daily push-ups, before supper toddie, his “spic’n span” shiny vehicles, his impeccable memory and his many interesting stories.   


Harold, was among the most outgoing, “with it” clients we had the honour of delivering Meals on Wheels. His enthusiasm for seemingly little, unimportant things;  one of them “Cracker Barrel” cheese, which  he was overjoyed to receive when we brought him a large slab for his birthday. We can only imagine he’ll a fantastic time meeting kin in Heaven.

Harold and my mother, Mary Glover, were two of the remaining original Kedron community.  He always asked after my mother and I was planning to stop in this week to let him know she had passed away a few days ago.

We will all miss his smile and kind words.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Uncle Harold. Harold and Dorothy's annual trips to their home province of New Brunswick were cause for celebration among his family and friends. In a time before social media, Uncle Harold was truly remarkable in how well he kept in touch with his childhood friends in the Plaster Rock area and with his army pals. He always had a long list of people to see while in western NB. Each visit included a quick run across the lines to buy his much loved JC Penney's work pants, as well as a Haffenreffer beer to celebrate the purchase. In a call earlier this year, Harold was reminiscing about adventures shared with his brother Glen and others, remembering details in a way we younger relatives envied. Harold was a unique individual and both he and Dorothy will be sorely missed.

Your mom and dad were our neighbour's on Maine Street....always stopping for gardening tips or just to chat.
Your dad had the best stories. 
When  we added our  new garage...your dad was down on his bike willing to help.
Bless his sole...
They were both so proud of their sons and grandchildren. 
We feel honored to have know them both.

I'm sorry to hear of dad's passing.  He was one of my favorite customers at Shoppers.  My thoughts are with you at this time.  May he rest in peace.

I'm saddened to hear of Harold's passing.  He was a great neighbour and would phone regularly to have a visit.  He was known as the "Kedron Mayor".

My condolences to all the family of whom he was so proud.  Sorry I'm unable to be with you a this time.
