Grace Elizabeth Ogg

Graduate of T.G.H School of Nursing, Class of 1945.

It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Grace at Lakeridge-Health Oshawa in her 87th year. On Saturday, August 14, 2010, Grace joined her beloved husband, the late John Bruce Ogg and her parents, Arthur and Gladys Newton. Loving mother of Suzanne (John) Scarlett, and Wendy (Henry) Cameron. Dearest “Gramma Grace” to Shanna (James), Michael (Melissa), Kristan (Darryl), Angela, Christopher (Katherine), Elaine (Kevin), Tara (Ben), Melissa (Blake), and her 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John Newton (Bette), Pauline Leppington (late Gordon), Norma Newton (late George) and Gordon Ogg (Reita) and the late Mary Ellen Fuller. Grace will be lovingly remembered for her dedication to family and friends. Her strength and character have shaped many generations and her spirit will live on in the lives of those she has touched. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, August 17th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 18th at 3:00 P.M. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre or the Trillium Gift of Life Network.
