Suzie, Shawn, Johnny, Gabe  & family I’m so extremely sorry for your loss. Growing up when I was old enough to not want to go to Derek & Gabes hockey games I always went because I loved hanging out with Ashley. I always thought she was so cool and beautiful and I wanted to be just like her. She introduced me to some of my favourite music and clothing as a teenager and was the inspiration behind some of my hair dye choices. We always had so much fun together when our families would get together and we would travel around for our brothers hockey games. As we grew up and went our separate paths I always checked in online on what she was up too and we would sometimes talk here and there. She recently sent me well wishes about my upcoming pregnancy and told me how excited she was for me. I won’t forget that or the memories when we were kids. My sincerest condolences Logyn Ford. 

Ashely was born a little angel. Raised with so much love, she in turn gave it freely and generously. Right from being a toddler, she was always gentle and delicately affectionate, warm, sweet, soft spoken, and kind hearted. I don’t remember ever seeing Ashely that she wasn’t on my lap for the entire duration of our visit until she was too aged to do so…at about 10 years old. From then on, we sat glued side by side during visits, hugging on the couch. I always wished to have a daughter like her one day. She was my flower girl and I was so honoured and proud to be her catholic confirmation sponsor. I’d also never seen such a doting mother. Her children were her world and entire focus. When I spent a week with her, all of her being was centred on sweet motherhood, as her children were the love of her life. Ashley as well is the most gorgeous human, too. I remember her mother, my aunt Susie, driving with just us in the car, making a left at the traffic light. Susie was far along in her pregnancy. When I asked Susie what she will name her child, she replied Ashley, after the most beautiful woman on television.  Ashley became that vision in real life, but even more gorgeous. Before having children, Susie took care of me as a little girl, primping me as a doll, always giving me and her brother Jason the best care in every way. Now waiting for her own child to be born, Susie eagerly anticipated doing the same for her, and it was a delight to witness her beautiful, growing family. Susie dedicated her entire life to her family. They are the jewel of her eye. From this foundation, Susie’s children followed Susie’s perfect example of love. Ashley was exactly as loving a mother as her mother. Rest In Peace, angel Ashley. Your cousin Carla loves you forever, as we all do.

To Suzie and Sean, I am feeling so sad for both of you and your families, I  enjoyed the time I got to  know your family and know how much Ashley was loved by all.

Oh my dear angel Ashley, I'm so blessed you came into my life. I know it was a short time but you and I felt like we knew each other forever, we bonded right away. I will always remember us laughing crying dancing and then telling each other how much we loved each other. I remember how much you loved your boys Ethan and Jayce . Thank you for allowing me to talk to the boys, it was truly an honor. God gives us special gifts in life and you were one of the gifts God gave to me . Angel you will always live on through me and my heart, because of you my heart got a little bigger. So Ashley fly like a butterfly soar like an eagle and dance in the sky, because I will never ever forget you. To me you are like the wind I can feel you but I cant see you. We took this photo early in the morning on the day we drove up to move her into her new place in Lindsay. She was so excited and determined to build a bright new future for herself and her sons. They were her world. She loved so much, and was loved in return. May your struggles be over and may you rest at true peace Ashley, we love you.
