Mary Bolgiano Boyle of Ormond Beach, FL, died on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at the age of 90. Born in Baltimore, MD, on July 8, 1924, she was the daughter of Alice (Skirven) and Charles A. Bolgiano. Mary was a graduate of Hyattsville High School and The University of Maryland, and in 1947, she married John Thomas “Jack” Boyle. They spent most of their 48 years together living in Dover, MA, and, beginning in 1962, on Fox Hill St., in Westwood, MA, where, until Jack’s death in 1995, Mary presided over her family of nine with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Mary began her professional career as the clothing buyer for Robin Hoods Barn and then became a sales agent for Spaulding & Slye Real Estate Developers. In 1980, she started a 23-year career selling residential real estate. She was a founding principal of Fieldstone Properties Real Estate in Westwood, MA. Upon retirement in 2003, Mary moved full-time to Vero Beach, FL. In 2006 she moved to Ormond Beach. Mary is survived by her brother, Thomas Bolgiano, her sister, Barbara Bolgiano Brown, and her seven children, Christine McGuire of Manchester-By- the-Sea, MA, John Boyle Jr. of Westwood, MA, Charles Boyle of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, James Boyle of Ormond Beach, FL, Robert Boyle of Dedham, MA, Stephen Boyle of Derry, NH, and Nicholas Boyle of Dallas, TX, as well as eleven grand children. Mary will always be remembered for the loving warmth she brought to all those around her, and for her boundless optimism and competitive spirit. Memorial services and a burial service, at New Westwood Cemetery in Westwood, MA, are being planned, time and place to be announced.
