John Edward Washington, age 87, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
John was born in Johnson City, New York
Survived by loving wife of 65 years Thelma Washington; 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and a host of family and friends and beloved dog Toby.
John was a devout Catholic. He loved his career as an over the road truck driver. John served his country in the United States Marine Corp right after graduating high school.
John moved to Florida in 2009 and retired from the trucking industry in 2012
A memorial service for John will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Ormond Beach, Florida.
