Frank J. Sawyer

Frank John Sawyer 81, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Daytona Beach, Fl. Frank was born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts on January 16, 1932. Frank loved to garden and go mushrooming. He also loved to dance and go out to the V.F.W. He was a wonderful Dad, he took over a year out of his own time to take care of his sick and blind "grand-dog"(skip) so his daughter could work. He loved animals! Another favorite past time was going to the beach with his wife to sunbathe. Anything that was needed to be fixed or made he was always there to take care of it. Mr. Sawyer is survived by his beloved wife Sarina of 57 years. Daughters Colleen Sawyer and husband Ed Gonzalez of Port Orange; Nancy and William Demary of Pittsfield, MA; Grandchildren Tracy Demary and Kelly (Chris) Melski, Michelle (Marty) Porter of Pittsfield, MA; great-grandchildren Scott Melski, Mackenzie Melski Anthony Melski, Duke Porter, Ryan Porter, Chris Porter, and Sammy Porter all of Massachusetts. He was predeased by his grandson Scott Demary.
