A lady with much style, charm, and a positive, out-going nature. A strong-willed woman, too. 
I enjoyed many terrific times with Anne: our tennis-playing summers; kayaking across the Channel at Galille; sitting around camp fires in the evening--even, sometimes, in the rain; our white-water rafting experience in Maine, especially when both of us, at one point, ended up in the river; the breakfasts at that old inn in Wakefield; going to the Lantern Room for dinner just to see her and say "Hi"; card games in that tiny, corrugated, metal-roofed addition to the old trailer, especially when it was raining, and one could hardly hear ones self think; the Christmas Day dinners that I frequently went to in Shrewsbury with the Guertin clan; sharing gardening ideas and plants; and, ESPECIALLY, the many ping-pong games. Damn! I NEVER EVER could beat her! The closest I ever could come was to maybe trail behind her by two or three points. Rats! Now I'll not have the opportunity to ever challenge her again--at least, not on this astral plane. Well, who knows. If they can play poker in Heaven, then why not ping-pong? I'll just have to do my best to try to ultimately "get up there" so i can see her again and issue a challenge.
I missed her when she stopped coming "down to the beach." I remember how she, with Brad's help, had planted a pretty flower garden in front of her beach house, which she would add plants to each year. And I remember watching the garden slowly disappear as the summer seasons went by and Anne no longer was there to tend it. 
Vickie, Kelly, Danny, and all the others of the Guertin/Francis extended family, my sincerest condolences. I will frequently remember her with much affection.

I was so lucky to have the best Mother in Law. We may have disagreed on alot of things but we always agreed on family was the most important. I enjoyed our talks and I will miss them. I will think of you always. You were the best Mother in Law. I will always Love You

Uncle Brad, Vicki, Kelly and Danny.  I am so sorry.  I have so many fond memories of school vacations in Shrewsbury as a kid and the many holidays our families spent together.  Auntie Anne taught me how to ski and we all had such fun at ward hill.  Our times at the beach were so good and too numerous to list.  She was special.  My mom and dad, Billy, Mack & Tommy Halacey have a prized seat at their poker table in heaven for her.  My thoughts and prayers are will all of you.  I am so glad I had a chance to see her last December at lunch with Brad, Uncle Joe and Aunt Judy Paul and Beth.  She will be deeply missed and was truly loved.

I will truly miss my dear sweet aunt/godmother...forever will she have a special place in my heart...she was full of love for all her family and I will never forget her laughter and all the great times we had...be at peace my dear auntie...

When I moved up to New England for my first job in 1994, she took me in when I was having some troubles without a second thought. For a month I lived there and it was like living with an awesome roommate. She was so kind and easy-going. I know that I told her "thank you" when I got my own place, but I didn't realize how much that meant to me until much, much later. Thank you Aunt Anne, we will miss you.

 I shall always remember Anne as a dear friend. We spent many hours together - talking about our families, spending time on the fishing dock trying to catch a big one for dinner, and one exciting time paddling kayaks on the Halifax River. She was always bringing my husband and me different food to try that she cooked herself from fresh ingredients. She loved the outdoors, her garden, and shopping at flea markets for bargains and, somehow, she always found something to bring home for herself, for Brad or for friends.
As a snowbird, I always looked forward to being with her and Brad - sitting in her house talking endlessly, and playing shuffleboard with both of them. 
Anne, i miss you already and am happy to have known you. You were, indeed, a great lady.

I will miss a very special sister-in-law who was more like the sister I never had in life. But she's finally free from human pain and now experiences only joy in Paradise.  She was always the link to the entire family and will be missed so very much.

Grandmama was an amazing, fun, loving and spirited woman. I always enjoyed our walks on the beach together searching for sea shells. She will be dearly missed and loved til the end of time. I love you grandmama; rest easy.

The kindness and joy Grandmama spread to all that knew her is evident by all the kind words and gifts from her friends and neighbors here in Florida.
We will sorely miss our visits with the girls - she and Grandpapa always made us feel so welcome and at home and Meghann, Ali and Lauren cherished their time with her.
Thank you for everything and I will love and miss you forever.
