Born April 29, 1940 in Freetown, MA. She was the daughter of the late Philip H. Chase Sr. and Marion (Howes) Chase.
She was survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert H. Brown Sr. Three sons,
Robert H. Brown Jr. and George P. Brown of Eastham, MA and John D. Brown and his late wife Christine of Tampa, FL and a daughter Lauralee Stockford and her husband Herb of Eastham, MA.
Also survived by her loving grandchildren including, Kyle Brown and his children Brody & Carter.
Alyssa Brown, Abigail and Emma Stockford, George P. Brown Jr. and his son Grant all living on Cape Cod, as well as Ariel Williamsen her daughter Bella and Alexis Williamsen all of Florida.
Viola is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Smith of Middleboro, MA, Phyllis Dupont of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her brothers Philip Chase Jr. James Chase & George Chase and her sisters Sally Silvia, Shirley Perry and Marion Chase.
Viola was a graduate of Dighton High School. She worked as a book keeper at Lakeville State Sanitarium. While working at the Sanitarium, she married her husband on September 3, 1960. After leaving the sanitarium, and having children she worked for Oceans Spray sorting cranberries, with her sisters. Later in life Viola, with her husband Robert started the Gift Barn in North Eastham in 1976. They worked many years together building up their business. She retired spending winters in Venice, Fl with her husband. She enjoyed her free time with friends and her family. She will be deeply missed.
