Rocco Joseph Covello, 87, passed away May 1, 2014 in Orlando, FL. He was born July 27, 1926 in Long Island City, NY to Louis and Rose (Oliveto) Covello. Mr. Covello was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII. He was a member of the VFW Post # 4287 and served proudly in the Honor Guard and ran the Bingo for over 20 years. He retired from Long Island Railroad after 42 years of service. Mr. Covello is survived by his beloved wife of 66 yrs, Rose Covello; daughters, Diane Zielinski and Arlene Polidoro (John) all of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Dana Forburger (Chad Elkins) of Sanford, Fl, Nicole Sanstrom (Jason) and Michele Polidoro (Chris Spagna) both of Boynton Beach, FL and Michael Zielinski Jr. (Krista) of Winter Park, FL ; great grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew and Kyle; twin sister, Louise Leone (Mike) of Middlevillage, NY and Rose Papaccioli of New Jersey.
