Robert L. Springer, 75, passed away on January 12, 2012 in Orlando, Florida. He was the son of the late Charles and Katie Springer. He retired from the Social Security Administration in 1988 and moved to Orlando to escape the cold winters and spend time at his favorite place, Walt Disney World. He enjoyed relaxing on the riverboat in the Magic Kingdom, and his favorite spot was the Germany pavilion in Epcot. His inner child always surfaced when he was with Mickey, Minnie and especially Goofy. He worked part-time for Publix as a demonstrator, and later for Sea World as a ticket seller for the Luau shows. Bob was also a disabled veteran of the US Army, having served in Germany. Along with his loving wife of 40 years, Janet, he is survived by 2 children: a son, Wayne, of Salt Lake City, and a daughter, Debra, of Orlando, and 3 grandchildren: Scott, Matthew and Jackson. He will be deeply missed. Arrangements are being handled by Family Funeral Care.
