Kevin Sean Ryan November 2, 1957-March 7, 2016 Kevin Sean Ryan died on March 7, 2016 due to complications of liver disease. Kevin, 58, was born on November 2, 1957 in South Bend Indiana. He was the third born son of John and Dorothy Ryan, younger brother to John Ryan and Stephen Ryan and older brother to sister Francine Lloyd. As a young child growing up in Indiana, he attended Christ the King Catholic School and Eccleston Elementary in South Bend. Due to his father’s career endeavors the family later moved to Tucson, Arizona for a year and then onto Escondido, California where Kevin attended Orange Glen Elementary, Middle and High School. Kevin grew very fond of California spending time playing baseball, going to the beach and hanging out with friends. During his high school years the family moved to Orlando, Florida where he finished out his high school years at Edgewater High School in College Park, Florida. As a teenager in Escondido, California, Kevin was awarded a Letter of Commendation by the mayor of Escondido in 1974 for saving the life of a young toddler who was almost hit by an automobile. Kevin had a successful career at Carroll Tire Company in Orlando Florida. He was a dedicated employee who devoted 30 plus years to the company. He worked part time and committed most Saturdays working for McGee Tires for numerous years. Kevin was a faithful employee and friend to all. Kevin was passionate about baseball. As a young man, Kevin was scouted by the Cincinnati Red Baseball Team for his athletic abilities as a middle infielder. Affectionately known as “Pup” to his baseball team mates and friends, Kevin went on to play 2nd base for several senior baseball leagues, one in which included The Orlando Juice. One of the highlights of his baseball experiences included playing against The Russian National Team organized by the Men’s Senior Baseball League. Friends and team mates will not only remember “Pup” for his athletic abilities, but more importantly his ability to be a genuine friend and team player to all. In addition, Kevin coached for his son’s Little League teams and umpired for several Central Florida leagues. Kevin was a loving son to father John F.X. Ryan and mother Dorothy Ryan. He spent quality time caring for his father who suffered and died of cancer in 1977 and provided loving and devoted care to his mother as she grew older. Kevin was a very caring husband and excellent provider to wife Cindy Ryan and a loving and devoted father to their sons, Ty Patrick Ryan and Conor Shay Ryan. He was very proud of both sons and their accomplishments. Ty graduated from University of Central Florida with Honors who is presently living in Washington, D.C. pursuing law school and later a career in law. Conor is working for Publix in Leesburg, Florida and is a very dedicated employee. Kevin will be remembered for his great sense of humor, making people laugh everywhere. He is best known by his adoring family and friends for his comical one liners, bringing to light the humor in most experiences and situations. In addition, he was an athlete and loved to play golf enjoying the game with family and friends. He was also known for his drawings which often times reflected a comical satire of the world. He was a caring, passionate and talented, loving husband, father, son, son in law, brother, brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend who touched us all in unique ways and brightened our days as only Kevin could do. Kevin is survived by his wife, Cindy Ryan, sons, Ty (Denise) and Conor Ryan, mother, Dorothy Ryan, brothers, John Ryan, Stephen Ryan and sister, Francine (Scott) Lloyd. Mother in law, Barbara Miller, Brothers in law, Curtis (Jan) Simpson, Brent Simpson, Sisters in law, Josie Sheffield (Shawn Hennes), Leslie Simpson. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, Alex, Hannah, Daniel, Jonathan, Kyle, Jordan, Liam, Jeff, Jacob, Joseph and great nieces and nephews, Gabriella, James, Jordan and Cousins, Raymond (Lori) Comey, Michele (Chris) Gibbons and Robert (Darlene) Comey.
