Johnny L. Adams passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, in Brooksville, FL. He was born on July 18, 1943, in Orlando, FL. He and his wife lived in Virginia for over 10 years, but Florida was where he called home.
He worked most of his life in construction, learning how to plaster and sheet rock from his dad at an early age. Johnny was happy with the simple things in life and found joy in them. He never had a cross word for anyone, and he was immensely patient and kind.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Othell Adams and his sister Pat. He is survived by his wife, Philomena Adams, his daughters, Delilah Chandler (Roy and family), Dina Reed (James and family), Sidra Pazo (Casper and family), Natasha Berglowe (John and family) and Cassandra Talmadge (and family), 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sisters Wanda (Goldie) and Linda, mother-in-law, Mary Cirotti and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Cassie and Freddy Lee.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin-Fairchild, Chapel Hill at 2420 Harrell Rd. in Orlando, FL. Graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery with reception to follow. Johnny’s physical presence will be greatly missed but his light will live in our memories and hearts always and he will never be forgotten.
