A time to be born
Jean Ward was born in East Dry River Port of Spain Trinidad West Indies on January 26th 1935 she was the 3rd of 11 children.
A time to plant
With a passion for the healthcare field Jean began working at the Port of Spain General Hospital clerical office.
Her marriage to Ramon Gonzalez produce 3 children Ingrid Gonzalez Salam (Orlando Fl.) Judy Gonzalez (Orlando Fl.)and Sean Gonzales (Brooklyn New York.)
A time to pluck up that which was planted
In 1965 Jean migrated to Brooklyn New York and continued working in the healthcare field.
A time to build up.
She met and married the love of her life Aldric Ward and give birth to her fourth son Dexter Ward (Atlanta Georgia.)
A time to weep
Throughout life's Journeys many opportunity bought tears, after the loss of her husband Ulrick in 1981 Jean relocated to Orlando Florida where she continued her career in healthcare at Senior Partners.
A time to laugh and a time to dance.
Her infectious smile always dancing to the beat of a drum, Jean’s love for her Trinidadian heritage. The Steel Pan, Calypso, Soca music and mas, drew her to the LA Caribe Arts and Cultural Club where she was a member for several years as she engaged in many cultural experiences such as The Orlando Carnival where she encouraged the younger ones to partake. She was elated when her grandson became The Junior Carnival King.
She later became a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Central Florida attending all functions dressed to impress.
A time to love
Her love for family and friends was evident. Demonstrated by her dedication and commitment to her children, grandchildren great grandchildren and friends. Jean Selena (purple jean) , Diana Charles, and Joan Lawrence.
A time die
Jean battled several maladies and answered the call of her Creator on April 22nd ,2021 at Florida Hospital Kissimmee
A time for peace
She has entered her rest into the arms of JESUS no more pain no more sorrow no more tears . Jeans spirit is at peace and awaits the sound of the last trumpets called. She leaves to mourn her children Ingrid , Judy, Sean, Dexter. Grandchildren Terry, Jamie, Terrell, Devin, Shawna, Donovan, Tatiana, Tajshmon, Daja. 6 great grandchildren, and her siblings Leon , Mackey, Katie.
