Armando Quiñones Pérez, 86, of Orlando passed away on October 24, 2018. Born May 5, 1932, Armando was raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He moved to Milwaukee in the mid-1950s and worked at Rex Chainbelt Inc, (later Rexnord) for more than 30 years. After retirement, he moved to Florida.
Armando was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Crucita, and his eldest daughter, Ana Lydia. Remarried in 2013, he leaves behind his loving wife, Josefina Ortiz Quiñones; five children: Nilsa (Hector) Morales from Orlando, Florida, Maria (Alfredo) Morales from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Luz (Angelo) Rivera from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ocean Nicole Maceira from Orlando, Florida and Ocean Stephanie Maceira (Michael Garcia) from Orlando, Florida. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Armando will be remembered for his funny jokes and sense of humor, his love of dancing, and his love of Puerto Rico.
Services to be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill: 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817, (407) 671-3919. Visitation: 1-4 PM. Funeral Services: 4 PM. Committal Service immediately following at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
