He was the first child and son, of Edward and Margaret Norris. Hank was raised in Hometown, IL and attended high school at Mendel Catholic. Upon graduating, he enlisted in the Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. On his return to the states, he started a successful painting company that he ran for over forty years. Always the life of the party, Hank enjoyed meeting new people from every facet of his life while maintaining old friendships from childhood.
Hank was an enthusiastic music fan and on numerous occasions could be seen rocking out to bands such as Journey, Chicago and Styx in one of the countless Corvettes that he owned. The only place you might have found him more often in his younger years was tearing up any dance floor he could find. He loved being a rather spirited fan while attending his daughters’ softball games and you could be certain that he was in the stands. During the last years of his life, he devoted himself as a loving father and grandfather.
Hank was preceded in death by his sister Mary Russ. He is survived by his brother, Edward Norris, longtime partner, Edith Norris, daughters Samantha Moreno and Nicole Leslie, son-in-law, Sean Leslie, grandchildren Joseph and Gianna Moreno.
Hank will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
