Filippo Rovito, age 80. Beloved husband of the late Maria (nee Libero) for 57 years; loving father of Robert (Gina), John (Michele), Joe (Giovanna), Daniela (the late Maurizio), Gigi (Antonella) and Andrew; proud grandfather of Dario (Savanna), Domenica, Marco, Nicole, Joey (Stefanie), Dominick, Maria, Enzo, Maurizio Jr., Luca and Sophia; and great grandfather of Francesca and Joey III; dear brother of Pupetta (Aldo) Sorrentino. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Filippo that will be held Thursday, October 12th, 2023 from 3pm to 8pm at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 West 143rd Street, Orland Park, Illinois. Funeral Service Friday, 10am at Orland Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park.
