Zachary had a kind and loving spirit. He was full of life and had limitless potential. Music was his passion- and one of the ways he expressed emotions and addressed world injustices and both challenges and successes in his life. He was an extremely talented percussionist who played on the drum line. Zak was an entrepreneur- he loved to make custom hand made clothing. He loved sports especially basketball and football. He was so excited to play football in high school. He was a talented artist- and touched many with his drawings. Zak was also a technological whiz- he could work anything electronic…it was truly impressive to see things he could do through technology.
Zak was driven and full of ambition- we never once doubted that he would achieve great success and leave a huge legacy. Unfortunately we never imagined he would be taken so soon before he was able to realize all his dreams. However, little did he know in his short 20 years in this world he made a tremendous impact on so many.
Zak faced more than his share of hardships and challenges, but even in the face of those challenges- he never let it hold him down- he always went hard. His positivity and infectious megawatt smile never faltered!
Zak loved to help others- he always put others ahead of himself. Family was the foundation of his life- and our family has been shattered by this profound loss. His sister said it best when she said “Zak was the glue for our family”. He held us together even when we were separated by hundreds of miles. He was a beloved son, a devoted brother, a loving grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew, and a faithful friend.
Zak never met a stranger.. People were just drawn to him because of his positive aura. Every family vacation Zak met at least one new “friend”.
There is not enough time and not enough words to describe the awesomeness that was Zachary Clinton Myers- to know him was to love him. Please keep our family in your prayers- we will need supernatural intervention to make it to the other side of this.
Zak- this is not a goodbye but a see you later! We love you more than you could ever fathom.
Memorial services will be at Harvest Church on August 5th, 2023 at 2:00PM, 4865 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. 803-808-6373
