I went for many years without seeing you after you finished middle school, but I never forgot you. You were one of the warmest, sincerest, lovingest people I've ever met. I still love you; see you in heaven.


To my son Mr. Michael J. Chessman II,
Michael was and will always be my best friend. Those whom truly new him and loved him, his whole life would truly know what he was made of, a truly grateful soul and heart that he sheared with all. I his father will hold him in my mind and heart for the rest of my days, until we meet again. Michael, I know that you are with our lord GOD almighty and his son Jesus Crist keeping an eye on us right now. You have made your dad so proud for you my son was (will always be) the best son a father can ask for. My love, my son will always be with you as you are now in paradise and seated at the right hand of our father (No more pain my son). I will live the rest of my days happy in knowing your love has filled my heart each day and still does until my last day until I join you. Till I see you again my son. I will be sending you all of my love and thoughts each day until the Lord calls on me. Thank you for all of our memories and for all that you have taught me, you will always be missed (each day) my son. 
In deep sorrow, until we meet again, Love always your dad.


Michael was one of my favorite kids. I am so terribly sad to hear of his passing. I pray for peace and comfort to his family who adored him so.
