Christopher Allen Null, age 60, passed away November 24, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. Christopher was born on February 7,1960. He proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy from 1979 to 2009. He retired in 1999 as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years active duty and continued his service in the reserves for 10 years.
He was a wonderful father of five, son, brother, and a friend. He was passionate about respecting the flag, riding motorcycles, and his dogs. He loved his children even in the worst of times. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve, loved to play pool, have bonfires while listening to his favorite jams, building his small pond, riding his motorcycle all around Jacksonville to restaurants to listen to local bands and to have a good time with his motorcycle riding family and friends. He entered the HVAC business with a company named B-cool. Christopher started his own HVAC business in 2007 named Five Star Heating and Air naming it after his five children.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Don Null. He is survived by his mother, Dorlese “Dee” Null Hedges; his five children Samantha Sigmon (Jeremy), Cassandra Edwards (Kyle), Angela Null, Brandon Null and Nicholas Null; and grandchildren Aiden Sigmon, Andrew Sigmon, Noah Sigmon, Bryce Sigmon and Alannah Haney; and one brother, Jeff Null.
A visitation and receiving of friends will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Fleet Reserve, 390 Mayport Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fleet Reserve. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
