Norman H Bruce

Deltona, FL age 89 passed away at his home on January 13, 2017. Norm was born December 11, 1927 the son of the late Albert MacLean & Irene Churchman Bruce. He is survived by his wife Mary P. Bruce; children, Barabra (Salvatore) Cinexi, Robert(fiancée Karen Keyser) Bruce, Michael Bruce; granddaughters, Jillian Cinexi and Carmella (Pat) Holt; great granddaughter, Avery Holt. Norm was born in Massena, NY, lived in Matawan, NJ where he was married then moved to Keyport, NJ where he worked for the Elizabethtown Gas Co. In 1968 he moved the family to Ft. Lauderdale and worked until his retirement in 1989 for the City of Sunrise Gas Co. In 1990 they retired to Deltona where they currently reside. Norm was a faithful member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Deltona, the American Legion and the VFW Post 8093. He enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing, football and NASCAR. His favorite teams include the Miami Dolphins, NY Yankees and the Orlando Magic. Norman served our country spending 4 years in the Navy then another 4 years in the Air Force, he truly loved his country. Norm was a good man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed dearly, God Bless You Norm.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday 2-4 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 114 S. Courtland Blvd, Deltona, where funeral services will follow at 4 PM.
