Our mom Hilda Rosa Maldonado was born on September 1, 1946 to Ana Celia Rivera and Oscar Arce. December 4, 2020 at the age of 74 our mom passed away and met her Lord and Savior. She now rests and is at peace. She has gone to be with her parents and little brother Eusebio Portalatin.
Surviving are Jeanette Maldonado Roldan (daughter), Marilyn Acevedo (daughter), Alexis Maldonado (granddaughter), Kiara Correa (granddaughter), Luis Roldan (son-in-law), Edwin Acevedo (son-in-law) and Nelida Bonilla (sister).
My mom was a survivor as life was a little hard for her in her earlier years. At the age of 21 she married and short after just two years apart, she had two little girls who then became her source of life. She cared for my sister and me as her two precious gifts. She raised us to be God fearing women who believed in themselves to do better in life. My mom worked many years as a Home Health Aide and when retired decided she would dedicate her time to taking care of her two granddaughters.
Mami we feel honored and privileged to have had as our mother. You always loved us unconditionally and were the best mother anyone could wish for. We will miss you forever.
