Ernest Lloyd Hayle aka "Milo", age 70, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Ernest was born September 1, 1950 in Westmoreland, Jamaica as the last of 12 children of the late Brazilia Gayle (Hayle) and Linford Hayle
He attended the Beaufort All Age school. As an adult, Ernest moved to Kingston, Jamaica for a better life and from there on to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, working for the Navy base. He subsequently moved to the United States. He has 4 living siblings, Monica, Martin, Winston and Roland.
Like most Hayles, Ernest had a generous heart, a strong will and a sassy demeanor. He loved listening to music, always had huge stereo systems wherever he lived. He loved to laugh and hang out with the younger crowd especially at family gatherings. He also enjoyed cooking as he had cooked both professionally and for family and friends
He is survived by 4 living siblings, Monica, Martin, Winston and Roland. Survived by Annette Robinson, Elaine Hayle, Doris Hayle, his 4 children Tamesha Watson, Susan, Marcus and Shiloh Hayle, grandkids Zharia, Madison, Nea and Jalen Watson and great grandchild Aria Watson. He is also fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
A memorial celebration for Ernest will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. Following the memorial celebration will be an urn committal from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
