Michael James Norris

He was born July 21, 1953, in Tiro, Ohio, to the late Dwight and Joyce (Oberlander) Norris. Mike was a dedicated volunteer EMT/Firefighter for the Tiro Fire Department and also worked with the Richland County ambulance companies. This dedication to the health of others led to his career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital—a job he truly loved doing. Mike’s free time was “lake time”. He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping at Lake Erie with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Munyon) Norris; two children, Ryan (Anna) Norris and Melanie (Eric) Beck; seven grandchildren, Ethan Beck, Heath Norris, Julia Norris, Katie Beck, Whitney Norris, Natalie Beck and Halle Norris; and a sister, Kay Adams.

A private graveside service will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Avenue West, Ontario, Ohio. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
