Madeline Stone, 85, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on April 24, 1937 to the late Cecil and Goldie (Duff) Nolen.
On August 1, 1959 she married Bobby Stone and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1999.
Madeline was a member of Walker Lake Baptist Church in Mansfield and truly enjoyed being a church greeter. Her interests included gardening, working in her flowers, going to garage sales and spending time with family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and loved helping those in need.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Sheila) Stone and Paul Stone; six grandchildren, Nicole Conrad, Brittany Grover, Brian Hedrick, Kathleen Hedrick, Andrew Stone and Levi (Katie) Stone; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Cegar (Lydia) Nolen; and three sisters, Evelyn (Larry) Guill, Judy (Tom) Guill and Pam (Keith) Scaggs.
In addition to her parents and husband, Madeline was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Hedrick; sister, Agnes Hensley; and brother, Carl Nolen.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Mansfield Cemetery, 389 Altamont Ave., Mansfield, Ohio 44902 with Rev. Glenn M. Phillips officiating. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
